Official calls for making joint plan to keep faithful to ethics in area of AI

The secretary general of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities has underlined the necessity of being loyal to ethics when dealing with the issue of artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the news headquarters, Karim Najafi Barzegar made the remarks while addressing the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform underway in Tehran on Monday.
Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology is hosting the Tehran OIC event with the participation of high representatives and ministers from over 20 countries.
In his remarks, the official appreciated the effort made by Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, the Coordinator General of COMSTECH, during the event.
About the AI, Najafi Barzegar said the techology has progressed in many countries and the today Tehran meeting stresses the importance of preparing a joint executive plan to be fulfilled by the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.
