Tehran says Riyadh will host next OIC-15 Dialogue Platform

The chairman of the international scientific center of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology says that the next Ministerial Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform will be held in the Arab Muslim country of Saudi Arabia.

According to the news headquarters, Farhad Yazdandoost made the remarks while presenting a report on the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform in Tehran on Monday.

Iran is ready to play an effective role in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) and to take due measures in line with promotion of technological and scientific cooperation, Yazdandoost noted.

In his remarks, the official said it is of paramount importance to cooperate with financial bodies including Islamic Development Bank to proceed various projects on AI.

According to the official, all members attending the senior expert meeting in Tehran described the event as” fruitful” and “Tehran statement was approved.”

During the international event, the first-ever multilateral document on artificial intelligence was reviewed and approved by the high representatives and the ministers from Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.
